Monique Svazlian Tallon joins us from the US to talk about what she has learned about leading gracefully. It is the title of her new book ‘Leading Gracefully – a woman’s guide to confident, authentic and effective leadership’. It claims to offer a new roadmap for women who want to take their career to the next level through building confidence by embracing their feminine strengths. In this podcast Monique goes into more detail about the concept of how showing your vulnerability can work to your advantage and give your teams space to be creative and motivated instead of being micron managed. She also addresses the Queen Bee syndrome and handling emotions at work.
Monique’s book is a lovely inspiring read with lots of good advice for women with ambition to lead but who want to do it their own unique way and to bring people with them.
